Eulogy by Rachel Van Dyken

This book you guys. It made my cry and hurt and then eventually it made me heal. Eventually, I saw the light with Chase and I was ready for him to heal. Even if he wasn’t. When you have been reading this series as long as we all have, you know what I mean when I tell you that these guys are family.

Book Three is HERE!

This is all about Mitchell and Corina. This book had all the storytelling I love form Kelly Elliot and all the angst we know is coming. Tempting Love is the BEST. It might also be the best novel ever in this series for me.

Love Profound by Kelly Elliot

I love when a book pulls me in from the first page. When it comes to Kelly Elliot I know from the very start that I am going to fall in love with two characters and am going to be shipping them HARD by the end of the book. This book was no different.

Girl Last Seen by Nina Laurin

Once in a while I really enjoy a thriller. Its a nice break from my typical reads. This was one of those. It had you on edge form he very start until the very end. You spend a large portion of the book hunting things down and trying to figure things out before they happened. I loved it.

The Long, Hot Summer by Kathleen MacMahon

Sooooo, this was totally not my typical read, so this will be short. I did enjoy the novel. It was a different sort fo read and fun to spend an afternoon on.

The novel follows different members of a family through a summer. They each tell their won experiences and you get to kind of see life through their eyes. It was a novel about the ins and outs of a family and all the chaos that either makes of breaks it.

The Long, Hot Summer is the type of book that would make a great indie film.

Sorry folks, thats all I have got. If you love contemporary fiction, than this is your jam. Plenty of laugh, a few shocks, and as always, a good dose of tears.

The Trap by Melanie Raabe

GUYS! I must have been on a thriller binge when I requested these because this is my second mind twist in a row. HOLY HECK. Did you see the Tagline?

In this twisted debut thriller, a reclusive author sets the perfect trap for her sister’s murderer — but is he really the killer?

Yeah, that about sums up the reason I grabbed it because YESSSS.

This book as s low burn that was completely what I was hoping for. This book is a translation from German, so it reads slightly different from the types of thrillers that are big in the US, or at least, the ones I have read. I loved it none the less.

I swear I spend half the book thinking the main character was crazy and the other half totally on board with her. It really helps drive you as a reader to become so invested in the heroine.

The novel was a new taste for me and I really enjoyed it. Melanie weaves the perfectly haunting story that you can’t help but want to know the end to.

Hobbled by years of isolation, Linda resolves to use the plot of her next novel to lay an irresistible trap for the man. One Shade of Gray by Monica Corwin

Another steamy read to mark down for this year.

I thought this book was a lot of fun. It was a quick read and definitely had a unique plot. I was a bit iffy in the beginning for me, but it did catch up and I got hooked on the story.

It had a good dose of conflict, some great secrets, and just enough drama for me to fall for.

I love drama in a book, I love the chaos and the characters having to figure everything out.

Dorian Gray was SUCH an entertaining character. He was multifaceted and interesting and just, I liked him.

It was a unique twist with enough rush and pull to really enjoy. The characters were a bit wish washy in their feelings but I felt like that made them more relatable for me.

I give it a solid 4 stars.
