A Little Too Late by Staci Hart

I forget how much I Iove the hurt that Staci Hart brings. Okay, she also bring all the love as well, but it truly is the emotions that she invokes inside you while reading that leave her books so memorable. A Little Too Late brought them ALL.

As a mother myself I love reading single parent stories that get a happily ever after, I love them even more when I fall head over for the characters as I am reading. I love getting to cheer for them to get that perfect happy.

Then I read this book and it kills me. Each page reading the struggles and self identifying so much more than you want too, it makes you hurt and then in the next moment shows you that you aren’t the only one.  Then it delivers the perfect lines and you just sigh because it is THAT type of book. The type that leaves you cuddled up and unable to put the book down.

This book had its down parts, the parts that you didn’t quite know where it was going to go next, but it had the dreaming spots and that made it all worth while. What does it hurt to dream for yourself.

Ugh, just go read it. Single dad with two adorable kids and an Au Pair that is so much more than she seems.
