All the love for this book! I am a big fan for the series and this novel was ten times as good as the last two. I love the recent surge of MC books we have had, but not all of them are the caliber of this series. Not only are these books fantastic in their MC glory, but they have the best of messages.
Kaye gives you one of our favorites and then gives her the story we have been waiting for. Cora and Slider’s story.
Cora has not had the easiest life, and up until now, we truly had no idea. Once the truth started to come to the front by heart broke over and over again. Throw in Slide and his boys and I was a mess for this book. I started it with PLENTY of time to savor each chapter and I was a goner from page one. The second those boys were on the pages I was in love.
There was just an extra something with this book. I felt like it really tied a lot from the past two novels in and brought us back to the big picture at the end. I hope here is another novel because I don’t know about you, but Jagger NEEDS his own story. Id be good with that pretty quick here. JUST SAYING.
Wild with grief over the death of his wife, Sam “Slider” Evans merely lives for his two sons. Nothing holds his interest anymore—not even riding his bike or his membership in the Raven Riders Motorcycle Club. But that all changes when he hires a new babysitter.
Recently freed from a bad situation by the Ravens, Cora Campbell is determined to bury the past. When Slider offers her a nanny position, she accepts, needing the security and time to figure out what she wants from life. Cora adores his sweet boys, but never expected the red-hot attraction to their brooding, sexy father. If only he would notice her…
Slider does see the beautiful, fun-loving woman he invited into his home. She makes him feel too much, and he both hates it and yearns for it. But when Cora witnesses something she shouldn’t have, the new lives they’ve only just discovered are threatened. Now Slider must claim—and protect—what’s his before it’s too late.
